Smack Down - Moto X Style vs LG G4- Cameras Comparison ...

It is undeniable that the LG G4 is one of the best phones and best cameras today's...and thats why the Motorola Moto X style Pure has to be compared to a phone like the G4 so it can earn some recognition... There was not a single time that the Moto X strugle with light or fail to auto focus... We now can say that the Moto X offers pictures and videos as good as the LG G4...or even Samsung phones...

Good job on your comparison. I used to love LG, great phones, BUT!!!, kept writing them to make a big 5.7 with front facing speakers, , , never listened so finally bought the moto x pure. Love it. Good job again.

You are WRONG on what you said about aperture. Smaller number means larger opening. @2:58 "the biggest is the motorola" at f2 is incorrect. Motorola has the smallest aperture of the 3 you mentioned. f/1.9 is larger, and f/1.8 is even larger. Do you know why it is written f/1.8? It is because you take the Focal Length (f) divided by a number, to give you the opening. So ALL apertures are ALWAYS relative to the focal length (ie, larger sensor cameras, with larger lens, will have a much larger opening despite identical aperture numbers). On a 30mm lens, f/3.0 would give you an opening of 10mm. On the same 30mm lens, f/2.0 would give a larger opening of 15mm. As you can see, the larger aperture has a smaller f/number.

I always wondered why companies like Moto manage to get good results with a Sony sensor, yet Sony consistently fails miserably, providing dismal image quality in their phones, using the same sensor. Maybe using plastic lenses? Anyways, it's a mystery to me.

This is really stupid! You are filming the screens to compare the picture quality. WTF! Do you not understand why that is wrong?
