Material Science Center of Excellence

Through a partnership with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the Corrosion Center of Excellence is the only center in the Gulf Coast region to provide technical materials science education to meet the workforce gap for qualified professionals in the industry.

The Corrosion Center helps meet the need for qualified corrosion technicians to help assess, maintain, and prevent corrosion of materials in maritime, oil and gas production, wastewater, pipelines, energy generation, highways, underground systems, and heavy equipment sectors.
