I've had a lot of success with two team parlays using different game times. If the first leg hits I hedge the second game and guarantee a profit. If the first game losses at least I'm not paying a premium. I do agree that more than two legs is usually a guaranteed loss, but sometimes it's worth a sprinkle.

Parlays increase the variance on top of compounding your expected losses - if each leg is -EV. In addition, it's difficult to line shop when you are doing parlays that most parlay bets made are not made with the best odds. The premise here is that all legs have -4.5% ROI. However, if you can find two legs that are +EV (through mispriced odds), you can parlay those two legs and compound your EV, and that little increase in variance is worth it. Sometimes, those parlay boost promotions can make a -EV bet positive. But of course, I would never risk more than 1/4 of a unit even on 3+ leg parlays unless I get some really juicy offer because sportsbetting is a slow and steady hustle :). I think I mostly stayed away from being limited because I place a lot of 2-leg parlays after running through projections. But all in all great video, my friends had been asking for parlay tips and I told them to stop doing parlays, now I can share this with them!

This is absolutely true. The second I stopped parlays I started winning. It’s easy to get drawn in because of the risk/reward is so alluring. Next thing you know, you’re down $300 after constantly throwing $10 at parlays that never hit

i was addicted to parlay cause after i lost 300$ i won 3 straight team parlay my 10$ turned into 900$+ but now im on my 12th losing streak again wagering 15-20$ per day im hitting mostly 3 out 4. But thanks to this i will abandon doing parlay from now on.

You are right MJ. In Canada there is no single game betting on OLG. You have to parlay 2 or 3 which really suck. Great video.

the 3 friends and I have made very good $ long term on parlays...but we only play out highest % teams to wager. That said, it is not wise for most people to do so....as most people do not profit long term on sports wagering...due to how challenging it person has a very rare strategical concept to use. We have hit 94.6 % all time on our top % NFL wagers....mostly individual teams....but also plenty of small parlays as well...usually 3-4 teams max in most cases. Unless a person can find very high % patterns to hit and profit very well long term on games....parlays are a bad idea otherwise. Well said brother on this video. Thankfully it does not apply to everyone out there.

I try to do “rolling parlays” … meaning I don’t bet two or three games on a single ticket but rather I’ll bet an early game … usually European soccer given the time difference … roll those winnings and original stake into a midday or early afternoon basketball 🏀 (or football 🏈 game); and then roll that into an early evening or late game. If I go 3-0 (or 2-0 on a team play) the payout is far greater than betting all my action on a single ticket. The only downside is beating line movement. That late game capped at -3 early in the day might be -4.5 and that 1.5
