Why is TDS so LAGGY in 2024?

Why is TDS so LAGGY? I feel like the game is so slow at times for whatever reason... Today I yap about why the game is so slow and what you can do to improve the game's performance.

What is Tower Defense Simulator?

Tower Defense Simulator is a Roblox game made by Paradoxum Games created on the 5th of June 2019 and officially released on the 15th of June 2019. It involves players teaming up with one another to fighting waves of different enemies until they either are overrun or triumph that particular map. Players gain cash by damaging enemies and from wave bonuses, which can subsequently be invested in buying new towers or upgrading existing ones. There is also a Versus mode where other players can team up to face down another team. In this instance, players can send enemies. Once players are defeated or triumph, they gain EXP, which is used to level up, and Coins, which can be used to purchase new towers.

Adding more settings options to reduce lag for mobile is probably the solution, example: option to disable animations, particles and maybe very low graphics mode.

i hate the enemy spam wave structure modern day tdx and tds are using, it hurts my eyes and i cant even see what am i fighting against which makes all the time spent animation and texturing those enemies worthless

i feel like tower defense games these day(i am a tower defense genre player)is just enemy ultimate spam in the later waves. The part where you need to strategise is just the early game, in the late game, you just spam dps tower and crowd control towers.

Good video and everything u mention is not just the problem... its also the community demanding faster updates giving the devs potentially less time to optimize the game and even if ur phone or tablet has good specs like 6 to 12 gigs of ram at the end of the day even at 1 graphics ur device will still turn into a makeshift furnace

Literally quit this game because of lag, and i switch to TDX. But now that i upgrade my PC i still play TDX, because TDS just feel weird now

This is part of the reason why i ended up preferring TDX more, it never lagged from my experience (endless obviously does though)

Old ui suits for every platform, and no useless animations when you choose towers, and the thing in setting called "ui scale" only change the size of the setting panels and nothing else.

funny enough tds gained its early popularity mostly because it was a tb but available on mobile (tb didnt had mobile support back in the days) now days tds is kinda unplayable on mobiles

I couldnt get triumpher of all nights cus night 3 would make me crash so much. Especially with the towers aswell. They need “bullet trails” toggle to turn of flames, fallen engis turrets and accel lazers. Etc. that is the main probelm aswell. But honestly stop the enemy spam

The devs practically don’t care about mobile phones or tablets especially tablets. Half of my screen is covered by the player list and it’s not possible to remove the player list on tablet

As well as having low quality effects I think there should be an option to disable them entirely, that would actually be so helpful🙏

It's nice the game is high quality but it used to be super blocky and simple now there are too many animations going on and the models are quite complex. This makes especially mobile players experience this.

This is why sometimes i prefer dd than tds, my old laptop cant handle that much of enemies and effects, in the other side, dd keep it simple and is much more accesible for low power devices, and the game has cool things like the mastery system and side modes
