i've been finding patterns to distinguish between cis or tran, and this method of drawing the flat molecule first to interpret which molecule is pointing up and down is definitely helpful! thanks!!

Whatttt thheeee heckkkk y doesn't anyone just say to see which direction they're facing up/up or down/down is cis, if they're going diff directions it's trans! My teacher made this so complicated
