Reminds me of being a child before everything went to shit. Gives me a heavy stinging feeling.

Reminds me of the good old days of Xbox live, when I didn’t have a care in the world and just wanted to get home from school to play some halo or cod with my friends. I’m so grateful for those moments, I cherish them immensely

this is what the song sounds like in my memory, the original feels weird to listen to because this is closer to what it sounds like in my mind for some reason

A best friend of mine in high school loved this song. He took his life sophomore year. Hearing this song, even vaporwaved, I can only think of him.

I missed the period of time when vaporwave went from chill synth music to just playing songs at 70% speed. Guess we turning into nightcore 2 boys.

Listening to this on my back porch and a one year balloon drifted up to the sky from some kids birthday party.

I've spent my evening listening to your remix. Something special in it. Maybe because I used to love this song in 2008, when everything was alright back in times. Anyways, it touches me.

also here are the lyrics if anyone is wondering what they sre saying

You were a child
Crawling on your knees toward him
Making momma so proud
But your voice is too loud
We like to watch you laughing
Picking insects off of plants
No time to think of consequences

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

The water is warm
But it's sending me shivers
A baby is born
Crying out for attention
Memories fade
Like looking through a fogged mirror
Decisions too
Decisions are made
Decisions are made and not bought
But I thought this wouldn't hurt a lot
I guess not

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

Control yourself
Take only what you need from it
A family of trees wanting to be haunted

POV: You're at the park, trying to calm yourself down after a fight with someone you love dearly. You're severely stressed. Suddenly a group of small children come by you, playing. It doesn't bother you, but the loudness of the children playing triggers something inside you and you can't help but to crawl into a ball on the bench and cry.

Thank you. My family played this a lot when I was younger, this gives me nostalgia.

When I was younger, I was really into FNAF. I had been there since the beginning and I had watched just about every youtube play it. I stumbled across some sort of lyric comic or animation one day with this song telling the stories of the kids dying from the children's perspective. I hadn't been so broken by the story before. I had really connected with the children and really understood their pain instead of brushing it off as I previously had. I watched the video over and over again for weeks, sometimes for the story, sometimes for the song. In about 2017, I started to fall out of the community. I was losing interest and I just wanted to be included by the other kids at school so I started to get into things I didn't really enjoy for the sake of trying to seem relatable.

COVID-19 rolls around and I've found vaporware and slowed versions of songs and I'm absolutely loving it. I just let Youtube be my DJ as I draw and I suddenly hear the first few bars of this song and I instantly burst into tears from the sudden wave of nostalgia. I decide that it's time to get back into FNAF and I've never been happier. I've met so many awesome people who are still posting and raving about FNAF today and I honestly couldn't be happier. Thank you for making this. It's brought back so many old memories of me and my two closest friends at the time acting out the games, throwing around theories at recess and lunch and doodling little drawings of our favourite animatronics. Because of one song, you've flipped my whole life back onto the right track and I cannot be more grateful. Thank you. Thank you so so much.

It makes me think of when I was a kid thinking that my adult life was going to be great. And now that I'm an adult I'm just reminiscing about my childhood memories.

I would've never discovered MGMT if I hadn't had an interest in Vaporwave, and I'm honestly glad I did.

The picture makes me think of the real casualties to war. In the end it's always the kids that suffer the greatest, cuz they have to rebuild themselves and their community on a broken foundation, when parents are too scarred to pass love or care.

Pov: you can finally remember your childhood and the people and things you had to leave behind, the many years you've forgotten, your childhood home, your childhood friends, your childhood toys, even the memories you forced yourself to push down of a happy childhood. It is all coming back to you, and it's beautiful enough to make you cry your eyes out...
You remember the old smell of your room, the scent of a children's hospital, the old library you used to get children's books from, your old drawings and favorite cartoons, everything you had even forgotten about your childhood is finally coming back, your old life you had to leave behind....
