The fans watching in their living rooms assumed it was a mask. Those on set knew that Kevin himself had a dark secret. It was a well-kept secret, but it eventually got revealed to the world.
Anthony Rapp made allegations against Kevin of sexual abuse. That led to a flood of other accusers. He won the court cases against them, but that wasn’t the end of the story.

An Investigation Discovery documentary revealed even more. It showed how Kevin lived in a troubled home with a neo-Nazi father and hated himself for his sexuality. The documentary also revealed a long list of other victims. They included workers and actors at the Old Vic theater he managed in London and coworkers in America.

There were common themes across all of their stories. They described his inappropriate sexual behavior as sudden, that he did it with a cold stare, and that they felt ashamed afterward.
Kevin now has to deal with the consequences of his actions. He was fired from House of Cards and dropped by all of his crew. There are friends in Hollywood who support him, but it may not be enough.

The fallout is similar to what happened to his character. He may not be dead, but he’s certainly been kicked out of the Oval Office he once got to live in.

It's probably true that he might never act again which is a shame.... he's an awesome actor but I understand why most actors wouldn't want to work with him.... I'm sure he'll be fine and live a more than comfortable life

This is no different than the people who will not accept the guilty verdict of a Presidential candidate, or the court exonerations of Woody Allen. This is saying that if you disagree with a jury or judge's verdict, you do not have to abide by it. The title of this video should not be allowed to stand.

IT'S nothing wrong with being very private my mother. taught me to be very private this new generation tells everything. When people know your business .they have something to use against you.
