For all you Young Bucs was a Buccaneer that was 5'9" and 187 and wore # 28. And he was phenomenal!! I'm talking about Warrick Dunn!~!

Emmitt Smith was a 4.55 speed guy and produced similar yards per carry average in college 7.8 to Bucky's 7.1.. They are very similar size. And both are good pass catchers. Most people don't know that a well known college scout stated Emmitt was too slow and too small to become a successful RB, so, obviously 40 time and size is not always the "magic ingredient". Bucky is a bit smaller but will likely put on a little muscle at the pro level.

I think he woulda showed up big time in the 3cone and short shuttle. That's his bread and butter

Bucky is super shifty, got great feet, is not afraid of contact and has good power but will use that fact to his advantage to side step right by you. He also can hit sliver size holes and some how pop out the other side of the pile. And he is fastest enough to stay ahead of most people behind him. Works for me.

Bucky Irving's highlight reel makes me think of Reggie Bush

He's like a mini Nick Chubb! The way he processes gaps, and reads the hips of the defender. Also the way he fights through contact in the clinches.

Speed isnt everything. . Emmit Smith was not a burner but his side step and vision was fantastic .

Warrick Dunn was a smaller back for Tampa Bay and he kicked butt.

When someone says that a person running a 4.55 40 is not a good athlete, I immediately tune them out. Yes he is not the .001% of the draft class running a 4.2 - 40 time, if those are your biggest metrics to judge a player then good luck. Proof is in the pudding his results at Oregon speak for themselves. Now with Barton at center he is going to go off...Buck Wild and you guys will look pretty casual with your take.

Pretty combine numbers are awesome, but I don’t put a ton of weight into it for RB’s. All Bucky has to do, outplay White. Tbh, I don’t think White is that good. And White was a great fantasy back last year.

Not a good athlete he said? Okay he didn’t do good at the combine. That tape shows field vision and field quickness. He’s good at playing football, not test.

Just get him on the field with the ball in his hand that’s all that matters

David Martin was Small and was a handful, hard to see, hard to stop or tackle and always ran with a chip on his shoulder wanting to punish those thinking they would overpower and Stunt him, Bucky will be slippery, has great hands Mayfield can count on and highlight reels will be of those missed tackles trying to Stop Irving

His highlights are shockingly fun to watch, pound for pound power moving piles over & over again. He can set up defenders against each other. His stiff was elite also. He's got a different type of muscle it's fun to watch I hope it works in the NFL. I hope he just gets his shot because he doesn't seem like an athlete you would want bet against. Yet I feel we are all betting against him unless you think he's a 3rd Rndr.

Well I guess Bucky answered that question today

Was already jazzed up about this pick before stumbling across this video. Obviously as a 4th round selection, i need to temper any big expectations, but...

That tape looks pretty electrifying. He just might be amazing.

I'll be happy if he can contribute a handful of positive plays a game.

I remember when the Bucs used to play Barry Sanders twice a year. He was 5' 8".
