The fact that he actually cut his hand and never broke character. Incredible.

I think Leo scared everyone but Samuel Jackson, he was loving it.

Seeing this in a crowded theater for the first time was a MOMENT. There was compete silence for whole thing and an energy in the theater that was a total collective experience. When this scene ended, you heard peppering all over people exhaling and going "Holy shit, I'm having a heart attack..." Brilliant

One of the greatest scenes in the history of filmmaking. Leo’s acting here is terrifying, the intensity is unmatched. He’s one of the greatest of all time. Never seen a bad movie of his.

diCaprio deserved an Oscar for this role more than the one for Revenant

I can't stop laughing at how amidst all that rage and passion of the moment, he still takes the time to point out that his table top is in fact, turtle shell.

This might be the greatest 5 minutes in cinema history. Actually Sliced his hand open. Never breaks character. And you can see hes in real life dealing with the cut. This scene alone should have won him an oscar.

Quentin must have been so happy he casted Dicaprio for this role

The fact he turned down this role because of his morals. Then was talked into doing it by Jamie Fox is incredible. He thought it would have ruined his career. Instead sold an incredible character and possibly his finest performance. How he didn't win a award for this role is beyond me. Unbelievable

Can't believe he didn't break character after injuring himself. He really is a great actor and has tremendous talent.

Since 2013, I couldn't recollect how many times I have watched this scene again, again and again. What a screenplay he written. Nothing is enough to express the goosebumps getting from Leo's performance.

3:35 That little smile he does after he slams down the hammer always kills me

The acting in this scene is even more exceptional considering that Di caprio didn't mean to cut his hand, but when he realised he was bleeding he just went with it and Tarrentino decided to keep the scene because it worked so well.

That piece of glass he pulls out of his finger at the end is really a piece of glass that was in his finger.
