Touchdesigner Tutorial: My most-requested 2D texture

This was one of those happy accidents messing around with feedback loops. The result is the texture most often requested by clients. I've used versions of this in multiple visualizers, and as a texture mapped onto a sphere to create a 3d environment for a film.

The network itself is pretty simple. The texture is created in TOPs, the animations in CHOPs. Noise - Edge - Emboss - Feedback - Post Feedback Image filters is the gist of it.

The happy accidental discovery was that bringing the slope strength in my feedback loop into the negative produced previously open line shapes collapsing into closed forms.

I've been wanting to know how people did the bloom & rgbdelay trick for forever. Definitely need to explore the palette tab more. Thank you!

so useful! thanks!

have a little question - can we make the feedback like this(it reminds me of smoke) for the static objects (Cubes, lines etc.)? I mean, that the object is not moving but feedback - yes (like smoke)

My noise keeps zooming in and out by itself, . Why is it happening?

How do you make the TOPs resize automatically to the input aspect or do you press some key as you drop nodes? 'cause having to click the edge to resize gets annoying. Tried to find an answer in the preferences but the 'resize' network options did nothing. Not sure if I missed something.
