Recently, I was watching Breaking Bad (of course) and eagerly waiting for my favorite character to appear again—Walter White, or as I like to call him, Walter Hartwell White Sr., aka DJ Hartwell. Anyway, as I was watching, a presenter suddenly announced that he was about to reveal the 69th president of the United States. I was hoping it would be Walter White, and to my surprise, it actually was. President Heisenberg—how awesome would that be? At first, I thought, maybe this is just one of those Breaking Bad memes, you know? The ones with alternative cuts people make on YouTube. But no, it kept going. The last time I watched Breaking Bad, I couldn’t remember this episode, so I figured I must have fallen asleep during the series. There I was, watching Walter White start his inaugural speech, and he told everyone to “look on the bright side.” Of course, what could be brighter than Walter White himself? And there he was—Jesse Pinkman as Vice President. How awesome is that? I also saw Mike Ehrmantraut there, and I might have spotted Gus Fring, but I wasn’t totally sure. I think they made Saul Goodman a judge, but I’d need to read over the policies again because they were moving a bit too fast for me. At one point, I saw something about President Tuco Salamanca—now that sounds exciting. This stuff seems way too detailed to be a meme. But then, Mr. White launched into a full roast of the entire squad of previous presidents. Although, I wasn’t sure if I was following the timeline correctly—shouldn’t some of them already be “cooked” by now? Anyway, I think Vince Gilligan might have taken it a bit too far there. Regardless, Walter White has my vote in 2069, for sure.
