Finally got myself to finish RE7 in 2023, unforgetable experience.

Re7 is one of the saddest games of the whole franchise. Everyone were victims, the bakers, Mia and Ethan, and even Eveline . In the archives they said that they created Eveline because a little girl can trespass big groups without being suspected, but Eveline was always in a laboratory, that is why she was so obsessed with that family stuff

I hate how scared I am by this. I didn’t get scared by video games until I played the RE series and I still think that this game is the best in terms of atmosphere and overall feel of the environment. This song captures this extremely well. Instead of being one person creepily singing an old folk song, it sounds like there’s multiple people singing near the end. So instead of “there’s someone in there with you..” it’s “there are many someones in that room and they’re all singing about how they are going to murder you.

What I’m trying to say as nicely as possible is that I shat my pants by listening to a song without jump-scare noises in it.

RE7 is what got me really into the series honestly, i fell in love (not literally) with the characters in the game, mostly Ethan Winters, so the end of RE8 was sad for me
