That’s happen to me once when I was 12 on my KX 125 in the heat of summer

I was 3 miles into woods and had 16 miles to go

Had no cellphones my dad dropped me off with my bike and a full gas can he would come back in a few hours to pick me up

No one else was riding until luckily I was only 6 miles from where the trail was when I heard another bike coming through the trails and it was my dad on a new bike that he went and bought after dropping me off that I had no idea about before hand

Luckily I had an empty water bottle in my camelback bag with a few tools that we drained some from his bike until I got 1/4 tank and made it back to trailhead

I was soooo tired I couldn’t even get back off my bike from pushing 10 miles literally

My favorite part is hearing in the background as the boys catch air. Never gets old.

Side note: I once crashed over the handlebars like 10 miles from home in the middle of NOWHERE in the desert (AZ). I cracked my sternum and fractured my wrist. All because some ATV didn't know I was following them out into the desert to see where they were riding. He came to a sudden stop and I went into a medium boulder under hard braking. That was a very painful 10 mile ride home 😂

I took my 212 mini bike on a joy ride around our back roads yesterday, ran out of gas 3 miles out with nobody available to send gas🫠, it was a fun walk home lol

Everyone complaining about how he let the kid run a bit. You people are why you never learn lessons until your a grown adult. Sometimes you have to let people learn a bit

Always ride full with that weight, longer motos you might need it and you’ll be use to said weight 🤙

That's why I always have some spare gas on me. And I always leave straight so I can look out for a fore smoker

My number one rule has always been “don’t ride alone”. Always rode mountain trails and desert though

Sometimes you fall and the gas just drips off the hose, so it’s not only about filling the tank😅

He will always remember this that why when I used to ride I always had extra gas in my backpack in a couple pop bottles

Now imagine running out of gas in an rm 250 a half mile out in a trail by yourself… or in a crf450r running out of gas at the bottom of a massive hill yet I still forget to check 😂
