Bosch apparently told themselves: "Hey we got a pretty good CR pump (CP3), let redesign it so when it fails it sends metal debris everywhere!"

I like how this pump is used on small and large horsepower engines yet it sucks in all applications. Nice work.

I don’t wanna hear how it fails. I wanna hear how they’re going to fix it as a diesel mechanic for 35 years. The OEM should know how to fix this problem. Or someone should sue them to fix it a.k.a. national recall.

This man is going to change the hole industry of how vehicles are engineered 💯. Finally, someone is not dealing with the stupid shit the industry is intentionally making things harder for the average man, woman it all hits our wallets, and I personally believe it is on purpose.❤️✌️

It’s so crazy that companies put this shit in there vehicle knowing they won’t last long but then complain when they get sued and bunch of people complain. I guarantee they could make a pump for the same or even less cost without the issue and there be no problem. The company would then sell more vehicles as long as the rest of the parts are also reliable. It’s such shit when companies say they can’t do it cause of regulations or cause of cost even though other companies have and been making reliable parts sometimes even for cheaper. They want to make it so people are constantly giving them money but that isn’t how it goes. I know so many people that won’t buy ford, vw, dodge, etc… cause of defects in engines and other parts that cost them an arm and a leg and the engine or part never got close to 100, 000 miles. My ford escapes engine kicked the bucket at 65, 000 miles with me doing everything right but ford has defects in certain engines that eventually allows coolant to get into the cylinders fucking everything up. I won’t buy anything from them either

I'm a retired truck driver. We had Lubra filter which is a bypass filter with a 2 micron filter. I installed a Amsoil bypass filter in my 06 Ford diesel. We changed the oil in our trucks at 20k miles and if the Oil analysis comes back good we go longer on oil changes. Our engines lasted a Million miles + on Dello 400.

Just like the Dodge dash board it will crack and no manufacture is held accountable!

I haven’t gotten to it yet. But they sell a disaster relief for the cp4 . Basically it puts a micro screen in there so if it does fail it catches all the metal and redirects it back to the fuel tank instead of the fuel lines. I had a few guys at work tell me it’s a must have to bulletproof the 6.7

The problem isn’t the pump, it’s the fuel here in the US. Run a good additive and it will more often than not be fine

That cam lobe could have a curved outward face and so too the bearing could have an inward curved face which would allow for both cam and bearing to move any potential obstructions out of the way quickly

After watching this guy I wouldn't buy a diesel ever
