I would really like to have one of these. It’s probably the only Microtech I’d want and ever use hard. That said, do you know if there are washers that will fit in the pivot instead of washers?

I still won't trust that lock. I almost lost a finger to this kind of lock. This NEVER happened with my Tri-Ad Locks. This is for collectors, NOT the working man in the field.

People cannot understand the difference between shock loads and constant pressure. Regardless of which version I have, "fixed" or not, the knife has never let me down because I use it for its intended purpose. Hitting the spine with a stick is definitely not on the list of standard knife tasks. Moreover, the lock MUST disengage under shock loads so that your expensive knife does not suffer permanent damage.
