If anyone has experienced a flashing white screen on there @OnePeloton Bike+ (maybe other equipment too?) And you’ve tried to follow the factory reset options, you’ve likely noticed that they don’t work. Here’s how you actually get to the factory reset screen.

Peloton instructions: Power down. Then hold the Volume Up button and the power button until the screen illuminates, when it illuminates let go of both buttons.

Actual instructions: Power down. Then tap the power button then, before the logo displays, hold the Volume Up button until the screen illuminates, when it illuminates let go of the Volume Up button.

you are a lifesaver!!! I was on the phone with someone at Peloton for 30 minutes and they couldn't help me. I got a follow up email with written instructions and I still couldn't figure it out. I stumbled upon your video and I was able to reboot and get my Peloton to work again. They should pay you for this. So simple and perfect. Thank you x 1000!!!!

As someone mentioned, they should pay you for this. You are doing their job. Peloton sucks big time for the equipment, the price tag on it and above all customer service and tech support. You just solved the problem in 5 mins. Kudos to you.
When I spoke to them they said I need to buy a new touch screen for $650. Scammers

Unfortunately, the instructions and notes from Peloton mid 2023 are still not adapted. According to a recommendation from Peloton Support, I should clear the cache via Android Factory reset and reset my Bike+ to factory settings. With the faulty instructions it is not possible and one is left frustrated. I wouldn't have worded it as harshly as you did in your last sentence😜, but you're ultimately right! Thanks for your useful video!

After reading a bunch of peloton documentation and also talking to them twice on my issue, this fixed my problem!

My “white screen of death” didn’t look exactly like yours (mine looked like it was partially loaded), but this video fixed my problem as well.

Peloton was telling me it was a hardware issue and that I needed to buy a new screen which I was skeptical of so thank you very much for saving me a few hundred bucks and a few weeks of not being able to ride!

Awesome dude!! I just got our bike plus and never have experienced the white screen yet but when I went to start ours up it was already in german!! So I was actually able to use this to reset the tablet and then select English 😄 thanks again man, info very useful and much appreciated!!

Oh My Goodness! This worked. I was on the phone with Peloton customer service and did their fix 20 times! They ordered me a new screen. Now, how do I get my $$ back?? I should’ve watched this yesterday. Someone needs to correct the Peloton people and tell them the proper fix.They’re giving incorrect information. 😡

Peloton chat support gave me the updated instructions at least. It didn't work though, and I further had to 1) disconnect all cords, 2) hold power + VolumeUp, 3) wait one minute. After that I reconnected the cords and it started up fine!

Literally just went thru this but I couldnt get to your menu where it says factory reset, it would just give me a menu that said like "fastboot mode
Recovery mode
Normal mode"
And after that I just gotan error, so I hit recovery mode and as the peloton logo showed I just pressed both volume buttons nonstop in frustration and the factory reset menu showed up!! 😂 ty for this vid, better than peloton techs

For anyone with Android dead on its side with "No command" after clicking recovery.... I was able to press volume up and power at same time quickly several times (3-4 times?) while on this screen and got to the next screen where I could do a factory reset
