Choo Choo Charles speedruns are terrifying

Choo Choo Charles is one of the best horror games to come out this year, so how scary is it to speedrun?

ABOUT THIS GAME
Charles is a bloodthirsty train, and you need to destroy him.
Navigate a massive play area in your trusty old engine.

These winding tracks are treacherous, so you'll need to plan each mission carefully. Be wary when traveling on foot, or switching the track's direction; Charles might be waiting for you.
Upgrade your train to fit your needs.

Go looting or complete missions to find "Scraps", which can be used to turn your train into a death machine on wheels.
Get help from the townspeople.

Help out the settlers in return for high powered weapons, and other items vital to Charles' destruction.
Fight Charles to the death.

Complete the main questline, and summon Charles to a mortal duel. If you’ve gained enough strength, firepower, and skill, Charles may finally meet his match.

Like I've said before, I've love to imagine "speed runs in game" perspectives, like Charles chasing a seemingly almost harmless puny train try to run away from him only for minutes later see the same train fuck him up in a few seconds

I cant imagine what this was like from Charles’ perspective. Like you’re this ancient spider creature that is seemingly unstoppable and this random guy just shows up to the island and whoops your ass in less than half an hour of showing up.

I can’t believe he called Eugene slow. Sure, he can’t climb hills like a Skyrim horse like you, but he does know how to book it.

I love it when Easy describes Eugene as being “pretty slow” when in every casual playthrough other youtubers will tend to stop at the door and watch him absolutely BOOK IT up the hill, when in fact the player is faster than him.

When your train is out of health you take damage instead. I'm pretty sure that the player can take 3 or so hits worth of train damage before you die, so theoretically you could save time by waiting to repair by face tanking a few hits. TAS for this game would also be pretty insane since if Charles hits you right you'll go flying forward. If you get him in the right places you could theoretically get Charles boosts (same with guards).

BTW FYI, the cultists in this game aren't actually cultists in literal sense. Warren was trying to help the island, he evacuated people on the island and hide the eggs to ensure their safety. The reason he hid the eggs is as you seen at the end of the game, when you enter the eggs into the prism, it releases a beam of energy which would destroy the egg but Charles can also absorb it to grow stronger. And it's really hard to stop him from absorbing the energy (because go figure, a rocket launcher can only scratch him a bit). So, without knowing how strong Charles can grow with the last eggs, he hid them away from people who tries to die hard with him. All implies in a note near the end of the game. So he's actually a hero in this game as opposed to you who can potentially destroy the world by creating Hell Charles. But after the credits, we can see there are thousands of eegs deep down underground so eh, the moral stand kinda the same
