I had absolutely no clue that the DJI Pocket 3 has became this hard to find. I purchased the base DJI Pocket 3 (non-creator combo) back in November 2023 for about $419 from Bic Camera in Shibuya, Japan. I happen just happened to be on vacation after spending a week in South Korea, and one day i thought to myself “i should start recording some of these memories in hopes of rewatching them when I’m old”. This just happened to be one of the cameras that was new and had great reviews so i jumped on the deal considering it was tax free and the USD to Yen exchange rate at the time. I know that you’ll love it once yours arrives.

The camera was sold out everywhere, including Amazon (DE) and I was lucky to find a Creator Combo at a local electronics store. This little camera is going to change the content creator market. it's not an action camera, its a completely new category. I got it from curries 3 weeks ago but it sold out again quick, it was in stock so I got reserved for pickup

I watched this video and the “ whats happening with the DJI osmos 3” yeah, I agree it is a great camera for the price and also recommend it, but just from seeing the footage, it does distort the faces a bit when close, and is over sharpened like most budget action cameras. I think the hype you are throwing at this camera is a little more than it deserves.
When you compare the better cameras, it is not so much the viewing quality, it’s you can grade the images with more flexibility and use different focal lengths to tell the story.
I could clearly see the difference, but you are right, most can’t! But the wideness of the lens gives it a look like a phone and action camera. If you don’t mind this, or you just want BTS or vlogging style. Absolutely perfect!
For me, I would like a 360 camera that is getting near the OSMOS 3 quality, if these brands could achieve this, I would be in on that tech! I really love the super wide look compared to most cameras and they add a different feel. But currently all of them have significant drawbacks.

I must've been lucky, I ordered mine on Monday from the DJI website and got it on Wednesday this week. Was surprised by how quick the delivery was.

Ordering from DJI would've gotten to me 1 day into my trip I wanted to film for so I just ordered off best buy.. Got here in less than a week no problem and I was still able to get the dji care plan on it. I don't think its all that hard to find but it might just be the demand in my area!

I was able to get mine within in a reasonable time. But the issue is, I’m a truck driver, and I was unable to sign off for it since it’s over $700. But I also live in the US

I bought mine before it exploded on the market luckily I was able to buy this camera on the day with the help of my friend who works in the camera shop! As of now zero items in every store in the Philippines!
