Thanks Joe. Question: you mentioned that the wheeze is an inhalation. I've noticed when mule deer bucks make this three part call in my area near Yellowstone, the belly bulges during the wheeze (inhalation) and contracts on the grunt. Which is the opposite of how humans make these vocalizations (breathing in vs out). What is the biology behind the lung compression and expansion for the vocalizations that results in what I'm observing in the diaphram/stomach area? It definitely "looks like" they are exhaling with the wheeze. Thanks, Jeff
