Note 2: I believe you can tap the power button to toggle the d-pad into "analogue stick" mode in stock OS. Totally forgot about that lol

From what I hear they fixed all the colors so if you buy one new from anbernic it should be fine but places like Ali express might still be the old prints so if you do get one not from anbernic you should get a new color just in case

I just returned my RG35XXSP to Amazon for two main reasons. One is I figured if I want one I should get the updated one, and the second reason is I want my Bluetooth earbuds to work but I had trouble connecting them and when I did it wasn’t the greatest experience.

Nice to see they put a little bit of extra protection between the cpu and battery. I think if I do ever buy anbernic sp, it'll probably be the model that comes after this, if they make one. I like the feel of gba sp's, so I'd probably enjoy having one.

As a Dragonball fan, I'm a fan of the use of Dragonball GT and Dragonball games on the Anbernic systems. It is also fitting with how the newest Dragonball show, Dragonball Daima, has released recently. Looking forward to watching that soon.

Do you know if they updated those components (buttons, membranes, etc.) on the older colors? I really like the silver, but would rather have the quieter buttons.

They really need to do a 3:2 screen version of it with perfect 3x integer scaling for GBA. Its the one thing I dont love about the current version. I would like to have one for playing just GBA with prefect integer scaling then it would be perfect.

im always amused by the rattle and button sound tests as my original GBA SP from like 2002 or so would "fail" it aswell
those low profile buttons were never the quietest (and i never really took not of it when playing games on it in the last 2 decades)

It really is the best handheld they have made at the lower end. I have the clear blue one and it's always in my backpack. 2:23 For a second that wii pad look like a microwave running.

Would these ever be sold with the firmware update installed? I got a Miyoo Mini a while back with Onion on it and it was great out the box. I’m not really into the tech aspect of the hobby, just the gaming. So when I see these things, it makes me feel like I should wait
