Fact about the plane: The reason the plane entered the stall and subsequent spin is because they allowed too many sky divers toward the rea of the aircraft and on the step outside. This caused an extremely aft center of gravity, and having too many people on the step disrupted the airflow over the horizontal stabilizer enough to make it ineffective at keeping the plane from yawing.

I'm a year late but the plant at 2:15 grows around us, it's called milkweed and the snowstorms they create are one of the most distinct memories of my childhood.

Cattails do this too, if you get them in the right season.

That "really fuzzy plant" is a milkweed, they are the type of plant that monarch butterflies will lay eggs on and eat as larvae :)

All of the other sky divers got the normal sky diving experience. That last sky diver got the "It's WW2 and you're a paratrooper in a glider that has been shot by flak and is going down" experience.
