Photoshop is a great program, but I switched to Affinity Photo 5 years ago and have never looked back! 😊

I'm pretty sure everybody would agree that we need more Affinity videos.
(I'm not even a user, but I'm impressed)

It’s 2024, and I’m just waiting for you to join the Affinity revolution. Like if we all want to see PiXimperfect create Affinity tutorials too.

I’ve been an avid user of Affinity Photo and Designer for a few years now but always watch your PS tutorials for tricks that might work in AP. It would be amazing if you could throw in a few AP tutorials as well. 😁

Amazing video. Thank you!

Affinity: $55...once.
Photoshop: $21...per month!
If Affinity can do this well at such a low price, so could Adobe, but they don't.

Boom! Affinity 2.0 added an offset tool to freely move the shadow!

I started using Affinity Photo about 5 years ago and am extremely happy with it.
It does everything I need flawlessly for fun or for my commercial photography business. I use it for everything and I shoot it all!
I also teach editing while using Affinity Photo and most clients usually drop PS and LR for Affinity after we are done.
The team over at Serif who created this software did a great job and are committed to consistent and game changing updates.
Always innovating and improving the system.

I hate subscribtion model so much. For two month payment for Adobe's subscribtion I got Affinity Designer and I love it!

I have been working in photography for more than 20 years and I have always used photoshop but since a few years ago I have switched to affinity photo, and I really don't regret it.

I'm watching this in July 2024. Now there's are thousands of people fleeing Adobe because off their terrible business practices. (including me). Your videos are far and away the best Photoshop tutorials out there, at any price. I realize that adding Affinity content would amount to forking your content and that would be tricky business decision. But damn, learning Affinity at a professional level would be so much easier from your videos!

Thank you for the good video.
I've been using PS for year, about 6 months ago I tried affinity photo and designer.
Now I switched completely to affinity and do not regret it at all. Excellent all around.
WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE AFFINITY VIDEOS

I have switched from Photoshop to Affinity. I would love to see more Affinity Photo videos and fewer photoshop videos.

I've been using photoshop since beta in the early 90s and have been wanting them to do this since then. To see a 3rd party app do it before them is frustrating and why there needs to be legit competition for all their products...

You are an excellent instructor. Please start tutorials using Affinity Photo. Times are changing and this includes economies around the world. Monthly subscription models, such as for Adobe products, will not be feasible in the near future, especially for academic institutions. Many photographers, photo editors, graphic designers, etc., have dropped Adobe subscriptions.

I switched to Affinity Photo and Designer because I can't afford the Adobe products anymore. I'd like to see you do tutorials on Affinity Photo or at least mention how to accomplish the same functions in both programs.

Don't know whether Photoshop will learn anything from Affinity or vice versa but one thing's sure that both Affinity and Photoshop are learning a lot from YOU Unmesh and so are WE!

I used to be a Photoshop and Adobe die-hard, since the early 90's, but since the release of the Affinity products, I'm totally converted to Affinity (price tag alone makes it a no-brainer). If you get all three apps (Photo, Designer, and Publisher) you can also take advantage of their "Studio" workflow, which lets you work with Designer and Photo elements without having to open them, while you are working in Publisher. I find Affinity apps to have a much more intuitive workflow and for several tasks are noticeably faster than the Adobe counterparts.

A note on your reference to the icon differences -- If you don't like the color icons you can switch to monochromatic ones in the preferences.

Clone stamping in Affinity Photo is a beast. With preview, you can see where it's going to be placed and you can rotate the preview to foresee where you need to stamp next! And it has flip vertical and horizontal again with preview. Has saved me so many times!
