COVID-19: Indonesia aims to achieve herd immunity by August

Indonesia is hoping to achieve herd immunity against COVID-19 by August. President Joko Widodo has set the target for Jakarta's governor to vaccinate the capital's 7.5 million people. Indonesia is fighting a new spike in infections. Many are of the highly transmissible Delta variant. Dr Dicky Budiman, a researcher at the Centre for Environment and Population Health at Griffiths University, spoke about the new wave of COVID-19 in Southeast Asia.

Is the CNA reporting correct. Is it Indonesia or Jakarta that is targeting to achieve herd immunity by August? Just looking at the population numbers it would be more practical for Jakarta to achieve first.

And no restriction on Ramadan holiday travel..
