Dad told me about the first time he met this guy. Dad had a metal cage over his left thumb, and Chris asked "What happened?". Dad told him "Steel mill accident. The first time I heard this song was after I was tearing down a 100 year old farm house and I was on the roof taking the old tin off when part of the house collapsed underneath me causing the part of the roof I was on to drop 25ft. The only things that saved me from dying was the old 3010 john deere I had used to get on top of the roof and the piece of tin I was on. The bucket of the john deer had caught part of the roof and kept it from falling on to me. After that happened I got up went to my truck and turned the ac and radio on. This song came on and gave me the will to get back to work and get the rest of the house torn down.

This song is more relevant today than ever before. You can tell that Chris has lived more, gone through more hard times in a day and a song than all the slick Nashville pablum producing artists they churn out today combined have in a lifetime.
