Barner from the Cobb County Police Department confirmed the occurrence, stating, "In conjunction with the Cobb County School Police, we responded to an incident at Lindley Middle School following a report of a person shot." The campus was quickly secured to ensure the safety of students and staff, and it has been thoroughly cleared and deemed secure. There is one confirmed victim, although their identity and the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed.

I can't understand why these kids are bringing guns to school. It's ridiculous that they have access to guns by their parents or relatives. All this stuff about bullying and criminal charges if there is a regular fight in school is nonsense. When teachers and principals could spank, and Bible was taught in school this was not a problem. This is why schools need to be managed by the state and local board. Federal control messed up everything.

This in Cobb mabelton, by my house. Why aren’t the kids in clear back packs, ? Why the parents don’t lock up they weapons, the young girl was either mentally ill or what but sad part it’s a daycare across and on the side of the school. Just a sad case parents speak to your kids
