Cities of Uzbekistan - Andijan

Andijan is one of the oldest cities in the Fergana Valley. Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur was born - a commander, a descendant of the Timurids, the founder of the dynasty and empire of the Baburids.
Despite the fact that there are not many preserved architectural and historical monuments, there are almost 380 objects of cultural heritage in Andijan. On the territory of the region are ancient settlements and archaeological complexes dating from the 12th-7th centuries BC.
Andijan today is the largest industrial, industrial, scientific, research, educational, tourist, cultural and transport center of the entire Ferghana Valley.

Yes you are right Babur Shah was born in Andijan but he buried in Kabul Afghanistan. I his tomb and prayed ALLAH bless him. We also love him and you all Muslim brothers.
I am also Uzbek from Afghanistan. We are 15 million Uzbeks in 13 northern and central provinces of Afghanistan. Afghanistan has 34 provinces Uzbeks also live in other areas of Afghanistan but they forgot their language but nowadays they are trying to learn uzbek language.
