Finally another ad akali enjoyer. I got 200k+ mastery playing exclusively ad akali. It’s even more fun if you run it with HoB. My fav builds are
essence > stridebreaker > shojin
Or
Galeforce > essence > IE
Or
Hydra > shojin > duskblade
Sorc boots on all, and void staff if you need more pen. Zhonyas is good too, but a bit of a lame item.

It does crazy damage early-mid game, but it falls off a cliff late game.

If you do this build but go Devine sunder it gives you double pen plus makes your empowered hit do even more while making you tanky. Next time you try this you can go that. Going a Deaths dance makes you almost unkillable with triumph
