Meet Alan Wong, GrDip 02, PhD 13, English teacher at Montreal's Vanier College and anti-racism and LGBTQ+ activist. It's Montreal Pride Week, and we'll highlight #CUalumni actively working to advance LGTBQ+ lifestyle, art and activism in Canada or beyond.
Alan is an active Montreal and Concordia community member. He is currently a community affiliate at Concordia's Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling and an educator on Concordia's Anti-Racist Pedagogy Project. He often speaks about the lack of representation of BIPOC educators and the intersection of anti-racist work and LGBTQ+ activism.
