how much money YouTube paid me | over the past 4 years as a small creator

I've been on YouTube since 2020, have published over 180 videos, and reach monetization... sooo I can quit my full-time job now, right? WRONG. I love watching other creators share how much they've earned on YouTube (it's aspirational!) but as a small content creator on this platform with a full-time job, I thought it was helpful to share how much I've made over the last four years!

This is a great video and thanks for sharing. I teach getting into Youtube to other photographers and it's always helpful to see numbers from starting channels. Also, I agree with your decision to focus on Youtube. There's a lot of FOMO and vanity metrics surrounding all the other platforms and a real feeling of gluttony and over producing for content creators. Everyone acts like you have to do everything and that's the best way to "make it". But I've found just sticking to the think you love, or the thing that works for you and your day to day goes a LONG way. Great video again. Thanks!

love your energy, my initial inconsistency is soo similar to yours haha in 2020 I was so close to the 4k watch hours and then changed my niche and lost all those hours OOPS lol. But after watching this I'm so motivated to make YouTube the focus as I enjoy it so much more than the other platforms. I also tend to want to take on too much at once haha
