Great haul - need to get on some China Miéville. Can’t believe I haven’t read any of him yet!

Great haul, I still haven't got around to getting the Cursed Child yet!

William Gibson can do no wrong. He's been my favorite author for years now.

I must say I'm kind of intrigued by Olive Kitterudge, it seems kind of close to The Casual Vacancy.

I liked Olive Kittredge a lot but there are times reading the book you want to scream at her. She's not an easy going or even at times, likeable character but I loved the writing.

You continue to have such a broad selection of books each haul, I really would like to work on copying your style for when I buy - every time I buy a bunch of books they're all the same blinking genre!

I've read shade's children but don't remember it...this can't be a good sign! Will be interesting to see what you think though and maybe it'll job my memory?!

You should pick up Amy and Isabelle by Elizabeth Strout next. I read it years ago after Oprah endorsed it, but it didn't quite make the book club cut; which it should have because it has great writing and amazing character development.

You make Olive Kitteridge sound really good, we are not normally into literary fiction but we can't turn down a good book ;) Shade's Children looks interesting too, you will have to let us know how you like it.
On another note we mentioned you on our recent video Men on Booktube. We are just trying to help get all the awesome guys on booktube some recognition :D

Great haul as usual. I love Perdido Street Station, so would thoroughly recommend - it's as epic as it is huge :) I have The Scar and a few of his other books on my TBR which I will get to one day

I will definitely be checking out Olive Kitteridge on your rec- cheers dude

codeacademy has free intros to coding, they step you through it line by line. Lynda.com is good if you're prepared to pay, pluralsight is likewise a tutorial site, maybe leaning towards the pro end. On youtube The New Boston has free tutorials on a lot of popular programming languages. Other than that there's cookie cutter stuff you've probably heard of already. (Squarespace etc). Hope you enjoy The Scar it's also on my TBR. I really enjoyed Perdido Street.
