NZ Weather Forecast - Wednesday 9th April 2025

Показать описание
Tuesday got off to an active start with heavy rain and squally winds across the lower parts of the North Island and rain pushing onto the eastern coast of the South Island.
Strong winds and gales are set to continue up the Canterbury coast this afternoon and through central parts of New Zealand, strongest for Banks Peninsula, where gusts could reach 120km/h. Strong wind watches and warnings run through into the afternoon or evening, except for the Chatham Islands where the strongest winds will be tonight.
With a sigh of relief things are more settled from tomorrow with plenty of dry and sunny weather in store. However, the cold southerly winds of Tuesday will be leaving their mark on our temperatures.
