Carmelo Anthony Booed In Denver Return As New York Knicks Introduced, Pepsi Center

Carmelo Anthony is booed ferociously in his return to Denver during introductions for the New York Knicks. This was Melo's first game back to the Pepsi Center since being traded, and the fans let him know how they felt. It was an ugly game for the Knicks and Anthony had to leave the game early because of his knee. The Denver Nugget fans then started chanting, "Where Is Melo?" after Anthony's exit. I can't really be hating on Melo! I'm a die hard Nuggs fan and yet I don't hate Melo for what he did. 1st: Our team didn't really start sucking without him. If anything it got better in some areas. 2nd: Melo left in a trade which got us a lot of young talented players to work with. It would have been worse if he had left in the offseason like LeBron. 3rd: I can't really hate on a guy who spent close to 8 seasons giving his all on the court for the Nuggets.
