I'm kinda like you in that I prefer a regular screwdriver. However the older I get and the more my hands hurt I'm finding the ratcheting screwdrivers to be quite handy. I haven't landed on a permanent one as of yet. Thanks for the review.

I also do not like ratcheting screwdrivers much (my last apprentice who is now a sales rep at a local distributor swore by them, but that may have been her background in auto repair) but the very fine gearing would be interesting to try out. Also, thank you for the Xmas parcel, I greatly appreciate all that you and Kim do year round.

I have the megapro standard and the megapro tamper proof. I use the tamper proof daily for closer adjustments and removing Doromatic swing bar heads. If I lost my megapro I would immediately order a replacement so I guess you could say I like it. I read my own post and should clarify, the tamper proof version comes with hex bits with a hole in the center. While I don't need the hole in the center the quick access to many hex bits with a large handle works well for me.

I'm no professional locksmith, but I occasionally work on door hardware around the house and on heavy equipment and cars. I have found that my fixed blade Vessel Megadora drivers are very preferable to everything else I've touched for door hardware, but have had no frustrations using the LTT either. I am looking for opportunities to get rid of most of my other ratcheting drivers because the LTT one has ruined me. I can't be satisfied with anything else, not even my Vessel ratcheting driver, which I like, but as one of their budget models isn't competing in the same arena.

Nice review, really interesting to see trade specific requirements. One day I hope there will be LockForce trade specific screwdriver, needs a full tang and a nice flat space on the handle to use as a hammer 😉

Hey Jason, Awesome gift from @Chirael. I got used to the Megapros when I worked in the CATV industry, and I traveled alot for sales and training and always had the Megapros in my luggage.
I also picked up the Megapros Security bit drivers and love them as well. I just find it to be so handy to have all the different bits when I'm on the go.
I now understand what you mean when I tweeted the picture of the Vessel with the three hex bits and how they would mar the handset. Nice review, but I think I'm fully loaded on screwdrivers.
