I truly appreciate your overall message and approach towards fashion and consuming! (also love your new podcast with the other lovely ladies!) It helps me slowing down in the rat race of my (fantasy) life. Even though I do need new summer close, I've recently decided to take a summer break from shopping.
This way I can integrate what I already own much more and then decide what I further need and want. And here comes the magical part: Instead of feeling bored or super insecure about repeating my simple summer outfits, I can focus more on my life: being more in the present, sitting in my stretchy jeans short in the grass enjoying nature etc!
It took me a while to change these old habits and getting comfortable with creating a new narrative, but it's finally shifting inside!
This was yet an inspiring video! It made me come up with some new combinations for the upcoming days! 🥰💖

I totally agree with these outfits. Our summer has finally arrived but May and early June have been so cold. I lightened my colour palette to light blue, cream and beige in jumpers and jeans, i t really helped.

Terrific! Lots of useful ideas. Love the shorter length of the video.

I love your styling tips! And i'd like to add that i almost never wear dresses in the colder months but it helps pear shaped people like me keep the proportions harmonious while keeping cool in the hot greek summer, so it has become my go to option!

(I don’t have instagram so cannot DM, writing here instead)

I’m obsessed with “Sustain this!”. I listened to all episodes back to back haha it was impossible to stop.
It’s so genuine, you guys are so genuine and funny and smart. It’s such a feel good podcast and also makes me feel like I’ve come a long way on my own journey.
I don’t really have any friends that are interested & even like nerdy on this subject like me haha so I’m really glad & I just wanted to say thanks!! Much love from Sweden

Love all of your summer dressing tips especially the one about Tencel! I just bought a pair of tencel pants and wasn't sure about the "shine" but thanks to you I now know that's what makes them luxe😍

I love the Son de Flor shirt you are wearing. Could you show how the detachable collar works?

Summer is my least favorite season to style, too. I especially love the “third layer” that adds so much to outfits, like blazers, but most are too hot for summer. I’m gradually acquiring so me linen blazers with breathable linings, or unlined, but they’re so hard to find. The vast majority of blazers have hot, sweaty polyester linings - no way! I’m always searching for blazers with cotton or rayon linings. Rayon, especially, isn’t much more expensive than polyester, why can’t more brands use that? Charge more, I don’t care. Banana Republic is using rayon linings, so I have been stocking up!

I too wear more dresses and skirts in the summer months to stay cool and natural fabrics are key. I'm not a fan of shoe boots with spring/summer dresses. To me they are a fall/winter shoe.

I prefer skirts and dresses year-round and hate jeans (I’ve wasted so much time, money and resources in the last 50 years, but never found a pair that fits even reasonably well, my hips are just too narrow and I end up with empty Dumbo ear flaps of fabric sticking out, but still unbearably tight waists. Plus, denim is stiff, rough and hot). I love linen dresses, and a few linen separates, for summer. They are a pain to iron, but it’s the only fabric cool enough for our hot California summers, even thin cottons are too hot. Ironing is hot work, so I do it in batches first thing in the cool mornings and have a fan and window AC I can use, if necessary. I discovered that I didn’t really hate ironing as I thought, I really just hated the overheating it caused me. I don’t wear unironed linen, not only does it look awful, it doesn’t feel nice, either. It needs the smoothing and flattening from ironing, all those vertical wrinkles make skin-irritating ridges.

Where is the first green dress from? I need that.

I agree with all your tips. But I think that the black sandals dont look that good with the denim mini skirt. It' s like you want to show legs and then you visually cut them with the straps. Shoes in lighter color would look better in my opinion. Sorry, I know the outfit is just an example and isn' t necessarily exactly the same you would wear.
