WOW !!! now it makes perfect sense!!!
When I was working on my page every time i tried to change the <h1 id="header">
I would write it in the CSS page as. header
and I noticed my page <h1> wouldn't display correctly and the elements I wrote wouldn't work. Now it all makes sense you need a hashtag for the id not the.<. period>, thank you.!!!!

how to set attribute to a particular tag of particular class
eg: there are many span tags each with different class value
and there are different tags with a class value "deck" like span, p, h3 tag

so how do i change color of a span tag whose class="deck"

Hi Shaun, great video. I had one question, why do nested id's only override the color and text size property and not the top and left pixels size i.e. spacing relative to the website?

So regarding the order in CSS - does that mean that if i write the style rule for the ID or for the Class first, and only then write the rule for all h1's or all p's - the css will ignore the ID / Class rule...?
