Ivan is a Basso Profundo. He can sing operatic particularly in his upper register, but his lower range is incredible, pure chest, and depth. Ivan is absolutely a true Bass. I know some people are going to say I’m wrong but thats just people.

Okay about a year since I posted a comment admitting that I thought of him as a gray area between a high bass and low baritone, now I am 100% certain he's a baritone after hearing him sing operatically.

Avere note basse nella tua estensione vocale non ti rende un basso naturale. Se confronti la sua voce con quella del grande Jerome Hines, capirai cosa intendo. Questa è una vera voce di basso. This was amazing! He’s one of my favorite basses for sure! One correction, the Eb1 was probably chest fry but he’s a very talented and impressive bass!
