How to set memory seat / easy exit on 2019 2020 2021 GMC Sierra. May work on other GM/Chevy models.

I have seen many questions about this and a lot of people don't know how to set these awesome features up. Hell my dealer even told me the incorrect way to do it and I had to show them how. This may work on many different chevy/gm cars and trucks, but this is on my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4.

Here I am sitting in my truck for 15 minutes using 1 and 2 thinking it'll set perfectly, which it wasn't. This video has made it very clear I wasn't using the correct buttons.

Are you aware of a limit switch that keeps seat from coming all the way forward? My wife pulls her seat really close. (Airbag kill position) we’ve programmed a couple times and it stops about 4 inches back from where we program it.
My thought is a safety limit, but can’t conform that through GM. Curious if you have any experience in this.

Thanks for video. To confirm, each driver (me and wife) would need to program setting for separate key fobs 1 or 2. And have that fob when you get in to get to settings?

Thanks for the video. The owner's manual instructions fail to mention the vehicle seat settings that you need to access through the LCD display.

There's no confusion it's just fucking stupid 4:04 This is ridiculous I just bought the Denali for this feature and when I got in it I realized that you have to hold the button down to get into your position. Which is complete stupidity on GM's part. I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe with the memory seats and you just press the button once and you let go and it takes you to your seat position. It literally makes no sense how are you supposed to hold number one or two when you're way back in the exit position 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

I keep having to reset my passenger side mirror after I set it by pressing Set then 1. After I turn the truck off it goes back to another position. When I turn it back on and press and hold 1, it stays where it's at and I have to manually readjust it all over again. Don't know what is wrong. Any advice?

Just make sure you use the same key because each key will be different
