Just a warning, pls wear a protective face mask in a well ventilated area when melting plastic! Lots of dangerous fumes that you don’t want to be breathing in, and be very careful around small plastic pieces. They can be very harmful for pets or if they get in your food or any products touching your skin

I'm pretty sure off gassing is happening if you're melting bottles (even if they say they're recyclable the recycling plants have enormous ventilation systems because of the hazardous gasses plastics can release when heated like this)

Please wear proper PPE and have proper ventilation (do it outside homie, a plastic flower isn't worth your health)

That's so pretty! For those people worried about open flame and fumes, there is an alternative to melting plastic with less risk. Try using a heating gun instead. It will help to shrink the jagged edges and the color will look a little more intense. Of course, it's always best to wear some sort of protection and to do so in a well ventilated area. Safety first, always!

yall melting plastic can cause dangerous fumes to inhale, also end result could be a fire hazard but Im not completely sure about that

I tried this, it doesn't work quite like she is implying it does and yes, the plastic smokes and smells so ventilate before trying. Also, those petals do not stack as nicely as what she is showing, we need a step by step from you on this one.
