Istanbul Unveiled

⭐️ In this awards-winning travel documentary, a young American woman wants to discover what really makes Istanbul unique. She gets help from Serif Yenen, a notable tour guide and a travel writer in Istanbul, Turkey.

She unveiles Istanbul by interviewing interesting characters in both popular and
out of the way settings, about topics we have all wondered about. She reports from
behind the scene.

Öncelikle bu film günümüz youtube tüketicisini hedefleyen bir çalışma değil. Çekimler 10 yıl önce yapıldı. Istanbul'u anlatmayı 1 saate sığdırmak mümkün değil. Burada amaç adından da anlaşılacağı üzere İstanbul'un daha az bilinen yönlerini göstermekti. Devam serisi planlanıyordu ama bu işler maalesef kolay değil. En basiti her müziği kullanamazsınız, telif ödemeniz gerekir, her istediğiniz yere girilmiyor, çekim yaptırılmıyor. Şu anda kanalımızda elimizden geldiğince bölüm bölüm anlatmaya çalışıyoruz.

Modern hayatın içinden gelen insanlar ışıltılı dükkanlardan, avmlerden hoşlanmıyor. Zaten kendi ülkelerinde tonlarca var. Maalesef araplar bayıldığı için bizde de tonlarca oldu. Ama biz kaybolmaya başlayan atölyeleri, kültürleri göstermeyi tercih ederiz. Ülkemize gelen Avrupalı ve Amerikalı turistler yerel halka inmeyi, herkesin göremediğini görmek, tozlu atölyeleri gezmek istiyor. Istanbul'un çok kültürlü olduğunu unutuyoruz, hep görmek istediğimiz pencereden bakmak istiyoruz. Açıkçası özellikle son 10 yılda araplaştırılmış modern İstanbul hiç hoşuma gitmiyor. Evet bu filmde çok eksik var, keşke devam serileri olsa daha fazlasını da anlatabilsek.
