The Fall And Rise of Star Wars: Battlefront 2

It's tough to say if Star Wars Battlefront 2 should be regarded as a success at this point. I suppose it is in a monetary sense, and it certainly is a success in terms of redemption, but there is no undoing what was one of the last generation's biggest missteps. That said, the redemption arc of the game is nothing to shake a stick at.

Outside of perhaps, No Man's Sky, no other game has redeemed itself so thoroughly as Battlefront 2 in recent memory. While EA still certainly has ways to go to repair its general reputation, which has been contributed to by multiple anti-consumer mistakes over the last many years, the resuscitation of Battlefront 2 should not go unnoticed. With EA also bringing back Dead Space, perhaps EA is finally turning over that new leaf that we've been hoping they would for so long.

For me battlefront 2 was making a good comeback but now I it’s pretty mid. It’s better than what it was but it still has a lot of issues that need to be fixed. I feel like every update EA added just brought a new problem to game. Not to mention the heroes in this game are far from balanced as well.

I never cease to be amazed at the stupidity of gamers as a group and at the individuals that defend and forgive the companies that release such inherently broken, anti-competitive and exploitative titles like this one. They are the like the victim of a mugging making friends with their perpetrator because the person apologised and handed back $10 of the $100 they stole from you.

Final Fantasy 14 Online was a disaster! Square Enix rebuilt it from the ground up and renamed it Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn. They now have millions of players and is the best MMORPG I've ever played!

Basically, it was one of the most disappointing Star Wars games at launch ever ...

... But with all the support and updates from DICE during all these years, always listening to the community, it ended up becoming one of the best Star Wars games ever 🙂

And yet unplayable on PCs with Nvidia GPUs, I have 3090 and still it has stuttering, the death cam issue is so annoying, is not worth playing, installed 2 times, searched for all solutions online and couldn't fix it, it's been a problem without fix for 3 years, I was playing on PS4 pro without problems, other than the unbalanced rebels vs empire

Defintely the 2nd best Star wars game, very fun multiplayer mechanics with iconic star wars characters justified with constant updates to revive the game. Jedi fallen order tops this for me because it expands more on the franchises lore and being a amazing game in general.
