Just went from a HCI V1 to a bolt-on/tuned ATS-V and this would be the same result... Accurate.

The start of great things=V1, I had one, one of the best cars I ever owned once I got the rearend and driveshafts replaced, they were badass in the 2000s, the new stuff is just great though.

A cammed 500+ hp (he confirmed) C6 pulled up next to my stock '17 ATS-V today this afternoon and wanted to run from 35-40 roll. Told him I still had my winter tires on, being Blizzaks and all...him and his buddy still wanted to go. Just told him to launch and I'd follow -- he did, and I did. Outside of his initial jump, gained absolutely ZERO ground up to just over 100mph. Tomorrow, my second pair of Michelin Pilot Super Sports are going on!

Good ol NA V8. Even aggressive cam on an LS6/LS2 isn't going to break 500 wheel. All the ATS needs is intake exhaust and tune.

Sold my '05 CTS-V last summer. Had a maggie, Kooks LTs, plus, of course, a tune (472 rwhp). I think it probably would've kept up with the ATS-V, but I never got the chance. Street driving was the best.

I was literally thinking there is no way that V1 is gonna keep up 😂
