Emma Hayes will not put up with any BS. She is British working class, who has succeeded against the sort of posh know it all types that encourage those outside England to say "Anyone but England".
I hope she does succeed in bringing football to the sort of US families who would otherwise just support NFL. I am from a similar working class, rugby league supporting area in England and loved meeting that sort of ordinary US folk when over there. If Emma does expand the potential player pool, for male and female football players, it will be more important than the next Olympics and World Cup.
She wrote an article recently about how US college then "franchise" system produces good athletes, but all in one style. Jude Bellingham, for example, has played in three countries with different football cultures and is a star. In US, he would still be in college
