Designed to function as a wearable extension of your pockets, the bag eschewed excess bulk and storage capacity in the pursuit of versatile, purpose-built functionality. These days, it’s widely cited as one of the most well-designed slings on the market. Is it worth it, though, at nearly $150? We find out for ourselves.

2 yrs have already passed..i wonder what other brands/model of sling bags would be considered as an alternative to the xpod/xpod2? Same techwear-esque look, w/ neoprene-like material at the back, number of pockets for easy organization, & overall functionality

Hi, looking to getting one of these but I'm wondering:
- if the x-pac pouch is fully extended to the 7L capacity, can you still connect the side compression straps as well as the straps that goes across the pouch?
(Basically I'm wondering if it can become a mini messenger bag with the back which normally makes contact with your body, now facing upwards to the sky. The compression strap going across should help keep some weight off the zipper as the zipper now becomes the bottom of the bag supporting all items in the pouch)
