I dont have an income and because I was transitioning jobs when the outbreak began, I also dont qualify for UI benefits. So I'm living off of savings. I paid over 50k in taxes last year. Where is my bailout???

They don't care about the people who need the 600 to get through this pandemic. Stock market is still doing well and so that is all they really care about.

I think we need to acknowledge that so many families had planned and saved for an emergency. Just not one that would last this long. My family saved and scrimped where we could and we moved to a stage with.lower cost of living and it's still extremely tough. Prayers to all of you. We are headed for an unavoidable depression. Some jobs are relics at the bottom of the ocean like a singer on a cruise ship or working trade shows. The nuclear family structure is also a relic. In more ways than one winter is coming to America.

the government has trouble understanding that extra $600 is not too much. For example I received health benefits from my job and lost that once I got laid off due to covid and now I have to pay in full when my employer covered 80% of the premium

The way this country is going businesses and industries go obsolete every couple years and it's becoming almost impossible to be comfortable in any area of work. We need new industries with entry level jobs that are good opportunities for people

It is truly terrible. My only hope that people will care more about their government's role in their lives. For too long people vote (or don't vote) and don't think very much about how it effects them. People can scream for Gov's help, but it is a product of their votes. For too long a large number of Americans hate gov's help or intervention because they believe they don't need gov's help because they do the right thing and work, only lazy people need intervention. This crisis reveals they have been lying to themselves.

In florida we havnt even been able to get the unemployment system fixed so we had to go get a job and thier are jobs plenty warehouses store clerks food servers might have to downsize but sometimes you got to do what you got to do

I am so sick of suffering! I am ready to go back to work. These politicians disgust me! I am so sick of the lack of compassion for humanity, both parties will piss months away while people suffer and die! Disgusting lack of compassion for the ones suffering every moment of every day. You shut America down, take jobs away, leave them starving, while you spend months negotiating. once money is on the way it takes months to get to the people. We are America, we can do better!
