'Another Episode’:
This song was written while living in Florida. At the time there was a movement forming in the African American community objecting to the injustices of police brutality. The song serves as a commentary on what goes on in black neighborhoods every day. While making an account of the daily ‘episodes’ of the inner city, I empathized with the fear of being unjustly treated by law enforcement deeply. However, to assess the situation fairly, it was necessary to hold the community responsible for engaging in activities that worsened the current predicament of the black community.
