Speak for yourself, I want a 6.7 HO excursion.😂

Even if there wasnt a power difference I’d still go with the high output to get the benefits of the water cooled turbo. And better heat suited exhaust piping.

I have a 23 f350 6.7L H.O. and have owned many Superdutys..If the engine temp is not up to around 150 degrees it runs at a reduced power output. And for some reason it really don't go until 3rd gear hits..
Try all of that the next time and see the difference.

Both trucks likely have significant torque management until a certain MPH and probably 3rd gear.

You WILL notice a difference when using the 3.55 axel ratio especially when towing heavy with gooseneck. I own both. 3.31 and 3.55. The difference when taking off at a stop light while heavily loaded is noticeable. I tow cattle and hay and tractors on a 25’ gooseneck. I imagine adding the high output engine onto the 3.55 axels on a regular cab makes for a towing beast.

In my personal opinion, these trucks are not for “flexing” hp but used to haul big trailers with a load 😂 and with this video it would be more entertaining if it was a video pulling a trailer with a load to see the difference from the HO to the regular 6.7 🤔

475 vs 500...not probably going to notice on acceleration. They're both fast as hell for big trucks lmao

Thanks for adding the payload/towing stickers Ben, you know I complain about that every time, but I thank you.

The part that you are missing is about the character of the Man purchasing these trucks. We don’t always want to work and between work and sleeping we like to play. TFL was racing the HO Power Stroke against a Mustang GT!! You can’t do that in most trucks. Frankly many half ton trucks today are also fast. It’s about the truck that puts a smile on your face. Like a Raptor, mine doesn’t see off road work but it does zip around town.

The high output is only worth considering on a 350 or 450 dually that is run primarily as a towing rig. The standard engine is fine for >99% of people's needs.

The only reason I got the HO on my 23 F250 is because it wasn’t an option not to for the Tremor package on the 23.

I had the 22 F250 Tremor with the regular 6.7 and it was great.

I would recommend getting the HO to anyone ordering a 6.7 because there is a noticeable difference in response and it just flies. It really is a joy to drive. Also the water cooled turbo is nice for longevity (assuming Ford) has it right)

I just took delivery on a 2024 F350 SRW with the HO, and there is a noticeable difference compared to the standard 6.7 having previously owned 3 of prior year models. I think the 25 extra benjamins is worth the bigger water jacketed turbo and SS exhaust headers. What's another 2500 on a hundred grand for the extra umph? Extra power is a no brainer.

You need to do a long distance drive to spot the difference...I preferred the high output but I tried it without the lift was pretty tense when you step on it...just try long distance or the highway. Be safe.

I think tire/wheel size have more to do with payload and GVWR than interior fluff. @ 2:00

Towing through the co mountains, I'll take as much power as I can

Why didnt you put it in 4wd high to see the difference on acceleration in both trucks

I own both 2023 and 2024 and tow 22k trailer I do NOT notice the difference at any speed

Couple of things… I think you have a choice on the Tremor pkge. (I.e. not forced to go H.O.) for ‘24 & what about the differences in axle ratios. Which would be the best overall for towing 50% of the time?

I have owned about 10 super duty fords. I trade them in every other year for my building company. I tell you there is a significant difference in the h o. And if you like to play with the speed you will eat the back tires up quickly if you are not careful. I have a 1 ton single axel. And this truck is quick off the line. The extra horse is very noticeable
