🤔🤔🤔 non existence should be the opposite of existence but not "reality". Bc reality encapsulates non existence in it, i would say. But to exist isnt non existence.

And also now you see it now you dont isnt the best analogy for what hes saying bc there are many things that exist which we dont see and many things we do see that exist much less than we think they do, or even dont exist at all.

Like a car driving around a corner then you hearing a loud bang and assuming the car has crashed, surely

But actually you have no idea at all.

Even worse if it was all a thought in your head about worrying about the car crashing in the future
But the car and location and crash are all a hypothetical situation youre fearing will happen. It doesnt exist but it is a part of your reality in your hardware of a brain in the software of that brain. But what those symbols represent arent existing, being not a car but a symbol of a car, and not a building but the symbol of a building, and not a crash but an imaged typical banging sound maybe that youve heard in a movie before. Which is also false bc nearly every sound in a movie is actually 100% fabricated. And not just the sound of a different car crashing being overlayed, but not any type of car crash at all.

Probably someone stomping on a tin can that was doubled a few times or who knows what.
But your mind now associates that sound with what a car SHOULD sound like if it were to crash. But if you had never seen a movie before in your life and you only watched on for the first time today as an adult youd probably think that sound was kindof silly bc you may have never heard a car crash in real life but could guess it would sound nothing like that. Too many loose jangly parts and plastic to make such a singular crunching dense tone.

Or nearly every time they take off or stop there is an engine rev amd a skid noise. Yet any car youve ever been in may have never even ever made a skidding noise even when driving above the speed limit.

But now apply that to absolutely everything in your life youve ever experienced or THOUGHT youve experienced in the context you have. And know, youre probably wrong.

If i draw a car on a piece of paper and call it a car and you agree its a car its not a car but it might as well be to you. Its actually a drawing of a car. Its graphite scraped off on an extremely thin wood mulch with contrasting dark to light shades in a particular combination of squiggly lines and straight lines in a way that only you and i have agreed favors the side profile image of what a typical kind of car would look like but not specifically any car necessarily, one that we've never actually seen before like that. And only from that one angle. Bc if you pick up the piece of paper and turn it on its side you dont see the front or the back face of the car it looks more similar in likeness to a human hair or a wire, not a car at all.
