My son played this song for me several years ago, as an introduction to Parquet Courts. From the first measure, I was hooked. Then it became the soundtrack to the very out-of-the-blue and devastating collapse of my 20-year marriage. I've only been able to listen to it again in the last year.
When a band tells your story before it's been written, to the point you can't listen to it while it's playing out, you know there's pathos and magic in that art!

Great song fellas! Has that timeless feel to it. Not quite sure why but the energy and vibe of this song reminds me a ton of Minor Threat's "Good Guys (dont wear white)". I believe that is nothing but a good thing. Cannot wait to hear the new album. Parquet Court's songwriting gets better and better!
