For as academically mediocre as the Belcher kids are, they're very witty, more so than even their parents. Louise is capable of some truly scathing sarcasm, and Gene's playful banter can easily put folks off balance, but man, when Tina decides to 'Go There' she does not mess around, she goes straight for the windpipe.

I love that despite the almost constant roasting of each other, the Belchers are also constantly shown to have a very strong bond. They truly love each other despite their flaws and shortcomings. They're comfortable enough to poke fun at one another knowing it's never serious attempts to hurt any feelings. (Roasting OTHER people, tho? That's a whole different story, lol.) Bob's Burgers always does its comedy so well.
