You guys listened!! When I said "how do I control the wah" and was told to just use an analog wah in front of the Spark. And that didn't make any sense!

I know the amp has the smart back up band/drum track thing but I would like to be able to control a loop of my own playing. Having a looper has helped me develop a better sense of rhythm and time as well as dynamics while playing. While I still intend to buy the positive grid amp, I probably won’t by this controller since I don’t see myself using it for anything other than controlling effects off and on. And I can do that with my phone.

I use a Spark Go l with a songwriting pedal board consisting of the Singular Sound Aeros Loop Studio and Beat Buddy along with a couple of Chase Tone Secret Preamps. Excellent songwriting board🎉 🎸

I have the first footswitch and my problem is that it only works when you have the app open meaning you have to always have the app running to use footswitch . The other is that there is a lag between switching presets, and that is highly annoying.

I don't understand why you don't listen to the most wanted feature - a looper. You're driving all your customers elsewhere for loopers which inevitably means you're openly giving up market share of your (nearly) captive customer base that ONLY EVER asks for a looper!

Does it need the app, or can it control the amp without the app having to be connected ?

got my spark 2 and control x today, the control x won’t connect to the amp, whatever i try, updated both firmware using my old spark 40 amp but no joy with the spark 2. frustrating.

I think the looper is available with the Spark 2 amp.

I'm thinking of purchasing the Spark 2 with the looper but only want to get it if this foot controller can be programmed to record, overdub, undo. Can it?

Why don`t they make a footswitch that plugs in?. I find that there is too much of a delay time in switching presets which for me is no good in a live setting or for busking.
